An experience involving the request of a person's friendship on Facebook.

Me: "If you request someone's friendship and then cancel it, do they get notification that the event ever occured?"

J: "They may get an email notification. Why, did you request X's friendship?" (X representing a girl that we mutually find repulsive.)

Me: "It was no accident." (Obviously I didn't.)

J: "Then you took it back?"

Me: "Yes, it’s okay. I’m part Indian. I’m allowed."
